Another Great Day to be German!, or not to be, everyone is welcomed at the Steuben Day Parade. Many Thanks to all who helped including and to our Executive Board Members; Dave Schleyer, Joe Carpenter, Fred Fuchs, John Rohr, Carl Haussler, Bill Schillinger and of course our President John Louthan..

To Chris McSorley of the FIRE FAMILY TRANSPORT FOUNDATION for bringing Engine 343. To FF Kowalchuk and Lt. Verbowens in the FDNY Engine  Pumper. To FF Maresca and Lt. Tobin in the FDNY Rear Mount Ladder Truck. To all volunteers who helped bring in the supplies to the Hall and help set up the tables in the basement: Tommy Ciangiola and wife Rose, Bill Schillinger and Friend from Germany-Juergen Haar. To Charlie Messemer's Daughters for once again selling the souvenirs. A big "ATTA BOY" goes out to the Ceremonial Unit for use of their truck and the two members who delivered the Beer, Soda, Food etc to the Hall. And to Bill Kregler and Family for selling the Raffles. Another Big Thank You goes out to Retired Capt. Freddie Fuchs for his support behind the scenes. We know Charlie Messemer is in heaven looking down on all of us, his guidance throughout the years in getting ready for the Parade were second to none. Charlie was remembered when we paused for a moment of silence before we started the festivities in the Hall. And of course to all of you who attended and marched and participated-We Thank You!

Our Meetings return to the third Wednesday of the month, so start putting "Steuben Association" in your vocabulary for everything we do is geared to family and fun...

Next year's Parade will be held on Saturday Sept. 20th-Put that date on your 2025 Calendar!
